Financial Freedom Advisors, LLC (FFA) is an independent financial education and financial planning firm, owned by the husband and wife team of Craig Newkirk, CFP® and Berthann Jones, CFP®.  One of the fundamental values shared by the Principals of FFA is the need for a community-wide financial literacy program.  These programs are necessary to teach families, adults and children alike, the basic financial management skills needed to navigate the complexities of today’s economy. 

 

Craig, the founder of the Connecticut Jump$tart Coalition for Personal Financial Literacy and Adjunct Professor at Fairfield University where he taught the Certified Financial Planner  Program, together with his wife, Berthann, former President of the Financial Planning Association’s New Haven Chapter, have over 52 years of financial planning experience. They have combined their expertise and knowledge with the resources of their successful financial planning firm to launch a financial educational program for teens – Money Skills Boot Camp for Teens.
